TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account
TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade went live in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something this new, that range is solid.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly coming. That should round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
